A Line Cook candidate will need to be passionate about Southern style food and BBQ, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be physically capable of working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, and be flexible with their schedule. They will be responsible for preparing food items, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, communicating effectively with others, and performing various duties as assigned by management.

- Physical endurance, including the ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
What the Candidate Will Do:
- Prepare food items according to recipes and standards
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and management
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
- Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Must be able to work well in a team environment with strong communication skills
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and some holidays
Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
